I am an experienced and accomplished tutor specializing in Chemistry and Philosophy. Helping students learn and understand the subjects has been rewarding, so much so that I am now pursuing a career as a Chemistry professor. I tutor in a 'one on one' setting, taking my time with students until they truly understand the subject. I am knowledgeable in all fields of Chemistry, though I specialize in Inorganic and Physical. I have been published in a respected and renowned chemistry journal, ACS Analytical Chemistry Journal, for my work with electrochemical lab experiments. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Chicago State University, and I am currently attending Loyola University Chicago pursuing a Master of Science degree. At Loyola, I tutor General Chemistry, Algebra, Trigonometry, and Biochemistry, and I assist with graduate test preparation when not taking classes. I thoroughly enjoy being able to help other students, and I take pride in furthering their understanding of the subject matter I tutor. Outside of academia, I enjoy ice hockey, going for hikes, taking fishing trips, woodworking, and reading.
